as title says. i need input. bys airwalker bumper yes or no. i aint trippin about $$$ just wanna know what i should do. debating on new look or to stay.

I am thinking about going to one myself...I'd go knockoff if I decide to do it for sure...the real BYS is like a thousand dollars right? Knockoffs are like 150 and I've seen pretty good fitment from them.

Makes it nice if you plan on going FI too for piping and intercooler fitment.

You could get the real deal BYS bumper and run them GSR Blades (from what I can tell) or use that $1k+ to get better wheels, get real deal CTR headlights (or don't) and a different lip and be able to pull off something better lookin' imo and possibly even save you some money?

Now, just imagine you rear-ending someone - say even a fender bender... there goes $1k. Don't wanna rain on your parade, but either you just bite the bullet and do it, or don't. Your call.

To the original poster. Do what you want but I do agree on getting some real wheels before you think about a bumper.

And for some reason this got me heated:
I can see both point of views I guess. Yes it is cheaper, yes it is a lot for a bumper, but what happened to saving up for something you really want. You buy a knock off of this and you are not supporting the people who originally designed the bumper that you like so much. You are supporting the company that ripped them off. You are also taking the uniqueness out of it so it becomes just another bumper everyone has.

 

BYS = Not worth it IMO. If you're running out of things to spend your money on, maybe pick up some actual performance parts.
