Oil change makes big problems?
I just picked up a sweet 91 si hatch! The car sat for a while, about a year. Driving it for about a tank of gas and everything is perfect. Thing is rippin around and super fun.
I decide to go get an oil change since I'm sure it has been sitting for a while. I get the oil change and instant poo poo. Pulling out of the pennzoil joint the car is driving so bad I turned around within 30 seconds and went back. Everything appears normal.
The car shakes and boggs through first gear until about 3K and then all of a sudden it rides perfect! Then when you get a little over 5K it starts to shake again. It is doing this with all of the gears.
If the car is at about 2K it pretty much won't even accelerate, then the rpm's slowly rise and it's perfect again through the last half of the gear.
Did taking the old nasty thick oil out and putting new clean oil in destroy the car?? I'm thinking about how when you do a trans flush for the first time at 100000 miles it destroys the tranny. Same thing with an engine?
Anyone ever experience this, and what should I do?

change your own oil from now on, thats what you should do. Those retards probably messed something up from under the car and didnt want to tell you about it. Check to see if your ecu is blinking or if you have any check engine codes first.
I would change my own oil on this car but it's not really worth the $6 I would save and the extra hour of work it would be for me to do that when it is 10 degrees and snow on the ground in the middle of a Chicago winter.
Dude looked at the intake, nothing fell off. Checked plugs, everything seems ok. Had it back up on the lift and looked at it for like 15 minutes, this was after the place was already closed. Dude seems like a nice guy, I trust him. He's worked on a few of my cars before and I usually hang out in the garage and shoot the **** with him the whole time.
The check engine light isn't on, I don't even know where it is, I just got this car. Do honda's throw codes when the check engine light isn't on??
