Icon3 f22 Transmission Opinions PLS...

Hey guys I have an 94 accord JDM h22 with f22 transmission.as everybody knows that f22 trans have longer gears with h22 engines so i am thinking to get h22 LSD transmission for my h22 engine.
On the other hand I just want to learn your opinions about should i get turbo kit instead of h22 LSD transmission because people say i might get better results if i go with turbo kit.

If you are thinking about going turbo in the near future keep the f22 tranny if not go out and get a h22 one. you can also pick up a 5th gen accord ex. a little better than a normal dx/lx tranny. or a h23 non vtec would be go also

any turbo kit that is between 400-600 is just a disaster waiting to happen. Its hard to go wrong with getting a good tranny on the other hand tho...

If you know where to get an H22 LSD trans to my door for $4-600, please let me know! I've seen them more like $800-1000, which is why I went Quaife...well...still trying to

Don't buy a cheap eBay turbo unless you're prepared for a lot of fitment/reliability issues...bide your time and piece together some quality second hand pieces, if you don't have money. Used OEM turbos in good shape can be had for $20-50 at the right junkyard...get a used performance manifold, make some charge pipes, oil lines, run 5psi with some kind of cheap fuel management. Then, if you haven't totally screwed it up, throw on an intercooler and some real fuel management. I did this years ago and everything was great until I overspun the turbo due to a blown chargepipe at redline.
