89 CRX Si GSR Swap Bad Idle Problem
So I have an 89 Crx si with a 94 gsr motor swap. Everything used to run pretty good until after a while back it started to bounce idle. First started when it started overheating and started spilling the coolant because I didn't have a reservoir tank for it so I got one and did a coolant flush and it doesn't over heat anymore. Now when I go to start the car it revs up to 3k rpm and stays there until warm. It will bounce though from like 2 - 3k rpm when warming up. After it's warmed up it goes back to bouncing idle from 1 - 2k rpm. When I drive it, sometimes it feels like the fuel cuts out for just a bit until I give it more gas. If I press on the gas all the way it won't cut out. Even when I put it in neutral it starts bouncing idle. Sometimes when I adjust my clutch cable it seems to not cut fuel while barely pressing on the gas, IDK why though. I was thinking that maybe my IACV may be going bad. Sorry for the long post but this thing is really getting me mad already
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I forgot to mention that my ecu is throwing a code 8. TDC I think or something like that. Could that be something that's messing with the idle?

theres a i believe a secondary iacv attached under your throttlebody take that off and there should be threaded like thing inside there just try and tighten it. had a similar problem along time ago. i think that was the problem.
I think that's the rev something sensor lol not sure but idk. I'm going to try and clean the IACV and try to screw in that plug that you're talking about a bit to see if let's less air in or something. Getting me mad!
Several possibilities but this should help.
Inspect/Clean IACV.

Then Correctly Set Idle.

So I took off my intake tube from throttle and started the car when it's cold. It starting idling at 3k rpm. THen I went and plugged the bottom hole inside the throttle body that leads to the FITV. It stopped surging idle and idled normal. Does that for sure mean that it's going to be the FITV? Is there another FITV that would fit the GSR manifold?
