Hey whats up guys i'm new to this forum and have a few questions about doing a speaker install in my 2005 crv.

The tweeters are in the dash; do i have to take off the entire dash to do change them out? (i bought a deck from crutchfield and they gave me the speaker installation instructions but it says nothing about the tweeters.)

What speakers sounds good in this car? I had an alpine type r sub in my old '04 civic and liked it a lot, but im not sure the 6.5" alpine r component speakers are what will sound best.

I want speakers that will give me a lot of bass and that i can turn up loud lol.

speaker suggestions? is there a DIY thread somewhere (link would be greatly appreciated.)

 

If you really want some good bass I would throw a couple of 12's in the back! I got a 99 crv with two 12" Rockford Fosgate punch 1's and a RF 600 watt amp. It may not sound like much but is pounds. Everyone that hears it thinks I have a real high end system.
