I get an intermediate shaft with the engine when I bought my B18a1 and then bought axles separate. Then I realize that the intermediate shaft has two axles like ends?! wtf! whats up with that. the one I have is at the top in this picture

is it a 94-01 teg shaft? I think it is I need 90-93

 

The shaft on top comes from a 94-01 integra w/ hydo tranny. The one on the bottom comes from 90-93 cable tranny.

 

you could return your da axles and get ones for a 94-up integra. that axle would have the female end on the inner hub to fit that int. shaft. orrrrr use a shaft from a 90-93 teg.

 

how can I tell if this 94-01 teg axle is manual or not so I can sell it

 

automatic intermediate shaft will have SR3-J81 stamped on it.

manual shafte will have SR3-J01 stamped on it.

did this shaft come bolted to the motor already? cause if it bolts to the motor you can use it just get the right axles to fit it.

 

no it didnt if it will does that mean it will work?

 

go get the 90 to 93 integra half shaft. it is like 15 dollars at the wrecking yard.

 

x2. get one from a 90-93 integra this halfshaft is from an auto..its diff length than the one you need.

 

already checked the junkyard its not easy finding old hondas/acuras round here because most of them are long gone due to rust
