rear disc conversion
So i found a whole rear disc conversion for only $50 bucks im going to pick it up tomorrow and put it on my 89' crx. Now is there a big difference with the disc instead of the drums? Like would i notice the change?

I don't know where to begin, but I'm going to look at this clinically.
1) Pads used, Front / Rear
2) Properly bled?
3) Actual test or ***-g-meter measuring braking force over perceived distance?
With my overkill brake setup, I stop and my face hurts, and at no point in playing with brake combinations have I done anything properly and seen a decrease in performance.

None of that is Correct i was being sarcastic because if he would have Searched the 500 other post he would have seen that it was a great start on upgrading the brakes.
But him being a NOOB he didn't see or USE the Search Bar to read other post and see if its worth it.
I my self have done the rear disc conversion and with a new Good Brand of pads and blank rotors, New Brake Fluid it is a wonderful brake upgrade..
Sorry for showing sarcasm tired of seeing NOOBS with 3 to 20 post asking stupid Questions that have been Covered time after time after time instead of searching! Before I ask a Question I go to the old GOOGLE and Search, there are several Honda sites along with Honda tech that have went over or covered which most are ASKING.

I went 213K on my Mazda truck without ever working on the rear drums. I owned since it was new (13yrs) so I know that they were never done.
I still did a rear disc conversion because drums ruin the look of a nice set of wheels.

As light as an EF is, I just dont see the point in a disc swap. I'd say brake balance and a good set of front pads would be most important if you're actually trying to get the most from your brakes.
But I do agree that it is asthetically more pleasing.
