1 car, 4 years, 624 time slips lol
I figured some of you drag racers would get a kick out of this.
Ive had my car since August 2006, i bought it bone stock from some lady who was the original owner...4 days after i bought it i was off to the track... Got 2 passes that night:
16.6@87 and a 16.4@87 mph bone stock to the airbox! lol
I was able to pretty much document each and every change i made to the car... like what a Cold air intake actually picks up over stock at the track, or what an exhaust does and even how much slower you go when you go from 195/55/15's to 205/45/16's lol (lost a solid 1.5mph haha)
Anyway i was cleaning out the garage today and came across a box of time slips i have kept from over the years:

Time slips range from 16.4@87 ----> 10.62@137 haha
Right now i counted 624 time slips... There are a handful still in my car which are mostly from this year but i didnt count them...
Thought id share these, drag racing FTW lol
Here is the Evolution of the car:
Pretty much Bone stock just lowered 2006

This was pretty much stock just some 16's that made me slower! so i got rid of them lol 2007

JDM angle beware... I/H/E/IM ran 14.6@93.46mph Full interior Late 2007

Early 2008! AFI street kit 10psi 320whp

Late 2008 Same kit 13-14psi + E85 low 11.53@123...

Most of 2009.. stock gsr 444whp 16psi + E85 11.3@126

2010, Stock sleeve gsr 524whp 10.62@137 @ 2550lbs.. ETS Turbo manifold/Intercooler/6262

As it sits right now lol

I wish I kept all mine in the same spot over the years. I've had the same hatch for 8 years. Every week I find random time slips around the house and shop. I've thrown away probably 2 or 3 hundred.

Thanks guys...
In 2007, i had about 320 passes... I would go damn near every weekend Fri and Sat, and would average 10-15 passes a night.. This was when the car was a high 14 sec car... So i didnt really have anything to worry about when it came to breaking lol..

Now thats a sight. haha reminds me of the good old days. When i lived in texas i bought my first b13 se-r and i was at the track which was 45 minutes away every single weekend for test and tune night along with bracket racing events. In the two years i had that car i ran about 350-400 passes, same motor, same trans. Started out at 16.XX and was down to 14.3@97 all on street tires all motor. This was back in 2003-2005. It was a blast. I wish i could get to the track as much as i did back then but then came family and now live 3 hours from the closest strip. Ive owned my current b13 se-r for 3 years now and i probably have maybe 40-50 passes on it ranging from 13.6-11.1@132 from a couple different turbo setups. t25, then t28, then 60 trim t3,
Next year i plan to make it out there much more. Car should be done in January and im gonna attend as many events as possible and get to the track as much as possible. Nothing better than seat time. Hoping to hit my 9 second pass in 2011.
Anyways, thanks for sharing all those slips. Its awesome to see.

I am fortunate to live within 10 mins of one track (PIR), and about 40 mins from another track (Woodburn) and then 2hr drive north to another track called Pacific raceways...those who know me know that i love to race haha..
I used to race the car a lot more back in 2007/2008 when it all motor and then when it was making 300ish whp.... I still race it a few times a month but not like i used to back the... **** breaks more now lol...
In those 600+ passes i have probably broken everything except an axle lol... gears/diff/ring and pinion/motor but no axles hahaha

WOW...
And here I thought I was doing good with my little 100+ or so passes I've garnered over the past 2 years with the old car, lol! The DA didn't have a single pass on it.
But I'm like you, I live about 15 minutes away from VA Motorsports Park, and on Fridays when they have Muscle Street, Street Points and T&T, I'm out there ripping down the 1320. I just wanna race, and not having the new car done yet was killing me all this year.
But damn Myles, you're a SOLDIER, lol! Keep at it, man.

Exactly, when i was all motor it was easy as hell to just hotlap after hotlap never even stopping. At the track i would go to on average i would get 15-20 runs a night in easy. I think one night i had almost 30 passes.
But when you making 450whp and then to 550whp like you said. Crap breaks a hell of a lot more.

Lol thanks guys...
Yeah like i said i have a handful more that are sitting in the center console of my car right now... As i was counting them i did happen to count 3 perfect lights

well actually its more like 624 miles. 1/4 mile down, at least 1/4 mile breaking distance and a 1/2 mile trip back to the pits. So each pass is roughly a mile on the car.
Either way still awesome.
Either way still awesome.
, 2 comp clutchs, 1 Act (lasted the longest and shifted the best)... broken 1 ring/pinion, 1 2nd gear, 1 3rd gear, 1 4th gear, 1 diff, changed out 3rd synchro/slider 2 times
My stock motor blew up because of a 3>2 shift, the motor after that was a rebuilt $250 with Rock pistons in it that smoked so bad it would foul out the plugs every week in cyl 3..after it blew we found out the oil ring was put in upside down or something like that it cracked a sleeve in cyl 3 lol..... the motor after that was a Rod/piston gsr that cracked a sleeve due to the dizzy being cranked forward timing was quite a bit higher than it should have been.. that was my fault lesson learned lol
