So just wanted to ask some quick questions and give you guys an update on PY and company.

Py got new siblings recently





Max - have you seen my spark plugs?



Him - No




Got her some fun new wheels



I almost got attacked today



but I climbed through the trunk and nailed him




I recently replaced my oil pan gasket and found something that really concerns me. Metal shavings and a ring of some sort. Should I make plans to pull the motor and have it checked out ? It does smoke a little bit on start up and sometimes under heavy acceleration so I know it will need to be freshened up soon, but what do u guys think that metal is from?

The O-Ring you found,looks to be a Valve stem seal. Which would explain the smoke on start up and acceleration.

Take your valve cover off and use a flash light to look inside the valve springs. Try and see if you can see anything wrong.

How many miles are on the motor? I rebuilt my roommates 00ITR at 100k. Nothing was wrong,used a tad bit of oil,but i wanted it to stay fresh. (Who likes a yellow/black back bumper)

 

I want the black ce28 too. Where did you buy them, and if you want to sell them pm me.

 

I'll send you guys pms on the wheels - I would like to sell them.

The car is smoking on start up so I"m a little concerned.

I'll take a look but I"m planning on putting in a R swap - or K series ... hmmmm

on another note bro has the motor been starved of oil during a track day or anything? i was figuring the bearings were on their way out. pull the pan and see if you can see any carnage. im done with school in two week . . . maybe a texas trip to bust work out
