Looks like a solid setup. I posted a thread on here called "Best B18c-R Header". I was on somewhat of a budget, but I chose the Hytech Replica header. Others in this section of the forum can give you better suggestions. It seemed like the top 5 were SMSP, a real Hyetch, Toda, Skunk2 and even a JDM ITR header.

Supertech valves=fail. The heads always prematurely snap off because they under cut them, which produces no real flow gains anyway.

Get arp rod and main bolts and you'll be good to go. Just trash the supertech valves. They are nothing but trouble.

Stock valves on NA setups are the only way to fly. Flat faced valves are kinda iffy, Ive read too many things about them adding stress due to added weight from no dished face. Everything else looks pretty solid though. I would look at the RMF narrow rep. as a header choice. Made nice power on my GSR. Performer X mani w/ portmatched TB will make great power as well. Good choice.

The machine shop i got the head assembled by does good work from what i hear. This whole supertech flat face valve failure talk is kind of discouraging.

i guess i could take some pics of the head later.

I wouldnt run the skunk2 cam gears. There have been quite a few people that have had them crack on them.

The pro series yes, tuners no. I run tuners with no problem. I couple of my friends have been through a set of the pro series and they did crack. They switched back to tuners and have no issues.

if they are installed correctly they wont fail...the shop i used to work at we ran supertech in everything from big b series on 18:1 c/r spinning 10k on methanol....to b series turbo make 900whp+ spining 10k+.....the first time they tried ferrea in lisa kubo's turbo motor it dropped a valve....chad switched back to supertech and wont touch ferrea ever again. i also run supertech flat face valves in my own personal motor and they havnt failed me yet

It seems the whole supertech valves vs. xxxx companys valves is a personal opinion thing. Some people have success and others don't. I have "personally" seen a lot more stories about the heads breaking off than well...success.

If you can make them work and they dont do the typical supertech head falling off thing then go for it and add to the small list of success stories(not trying to sound like a dick)

I just "personally" stay away from them because they undercut them. Don't you think that if undercutting valves improved them honda would have done it? Its obvious it weakens the valve because you remove material away from the head area and taper it off. Just my opinion.
