Both part #24, 18 (the two frame rails) AND part #14, 17 (the two shock towers) are Si specific.

Why? I know the shock towers have the two studs in place from the factory while the other models don't, but I heard something about extra re-inforcement?

 

Ask the Honda Dealer man.

 

They wont know. If it had an OEM upper strut bar theres your answer, they had welded studs that aren't on other models. I don't believe theres any difference in strength though.
