Icon2 90 hatch dpfi boggs at low rpm, need ideas!????!?

so my car has had this issue for a while and i am starting to lose hope on this engine. the problem lies within my low rpm range when my car is warm. when it is cold i have no issues! once warm in first gear with little throttle it seems to misfire, when shifting to second it will bogg then run clean then bog again like once every 2 seconds until out of the low rpm range. i have no problems on the highway unless giving full throttle at low rpm. my ign timing is on but that evry 2 sec bogg happens at idle aboout every 10 secs. marks are fine fine fine and then it will fall behind then catch back up. weird. i have tested the following.... battery, alternator, plugs, cap and rotor, dual points, and tps! all are reading within spec......
my next assumpption is ignitor coil or map sensor.
i have plans to change my dpfi to mpfi very soon do you think this will eliminate the problem?

thanks for reading my story.... ha ha!

I had a very similar problem with my car before I switched it to mpfi.
When I switched to mpfi the problem was eliminated.

I think that my problem was caused by a completely clogged pcv valve.
The IACV was probably clogged too but I didnt check it after it was removed.

Hope this helps good luck
