planning on buying a strut bar for my ek coupe. I found cheap strut bars on ebay however, due to the fact that its cheap as hell the quality might be crap. Anybody here ever bought ebay srut bars? and how did it perform?

 

its not so much quality of materials. its the design in it. i hate the basic 3 piece ones. the soild one piece oem gsr/99-00 si is my absolute favorite and work way better. a 3 point would work great to(generic or oem) but just look for a oem honda gsr/itr/99-00 si strut bar

your best brace design is going to be the 3point, companies that make it are password jdm, benen, etc etc. and neuspeed makes a really cool one to. but all in all its not going to make that big of a diffrence.

many autox cars and road race cars either use the stock gsr/99-00 si one piece. or none
why you might ask? because it works and it doesnt take up much room

 

Most of the ebay (generic brand) parts that I have seen people put on their cars are crap. Parts don't fit or last as long as they should. I know it's just a strut bar but... you get what you pay for

 

how expensive can the si bar be compared to the ebay one? get it right the first time, and you wont have to buy it again.
