Del Sol: Loose steering?
So I just got my Del Sol back from the shop after it went through an overhaul in the suspension department. New struts and new springs -- Tokico Illuminas and H&R Race.
With that in mind, I've noticed that since I got the car back, the steering feels very loose -- you can jiggle the wheel a fair amount without the car responding. The wheel also tends to jerk around when the car is in motion, when you hit bumps in the road and the stiff suspension responds.
The steering was loose BEFORE I had the suspension redone, and I don't know if it's the fact that I was driving my G35 for a month and forgot what the Del Sol feels like -- but I'm fairly certain that the steering wasn't as sloppy as it is now.
So my question -- could the new suspension be causing the additional sloppiness, somehow? What can I check myself to try to diagnose the problem? I have no experience with steering stuff, as I've never had an issue involving it with any of my cars before.
Oh, one last note -- my Del Sol does NOT have power steering.
Thanks in advance.

I had loose steering checked under the car and it was the lower ball joint it was F**ked... did u take a look under the car to see if anything looks weird....
Check your ball joints AND the tie rod ends- Sunny had about a half-inch of play in the outer tie rods when I took her for an alignment. It was just enough that the steering felt loose driving straight down the road. The ball joints seemed a little loose, but tightened back up nicely when bolted back together.
