so I replaced my O-ring but I still got an oil leak. So I pulled my distributor back off and got to looking and I have a ton of oil in it. Im jobless and this is my only transportation right now. whats the cheapest and easiest way to do this.

 

sounds like the bushing is worn out
i dont think theres a cheap fix for that

 

are you sure you have the correct size O-ring? I bought an entire gasket kit off ebay from like taiwan or something and many of the gaskets were the wrong size. Even the HG blew after only 3k miles. But that was also because of incorrect installation of the Headbolts. But I would go to Honda and get the correct O-ring just to be sure. If not head to a junkyard and pick up a Distributor. Then go down to schucks or autozone and have them test it. They always do it for free.

 

there is a seal on the shaft in the distributor and when they start leaking oil into the inside we usualy replace the distributor

 

dude just go to ur local honda dealer and get the correct size O-ring for ur car.. maybe u got a smaller size O-ring

 

This, go to a pull a part junkyard and get a new one

 

i would suggest this but its still a gamble first of all finding one and then hopefully it works
