What Coilovers kit should I buy for my Honda Integra Type R 1999?
I want good Coilovers for daily use on the street.
Prices range about 700-900$.
For example Skunk2 Pro-S, Ksport Kontrol, D2 RS ?

The skunk II pro-s II is honestly his best bang for the buck I would think. Nearly $400 less than PIC and he can chose his spring rate. For what he's looking for I think they'd be perfect. If he tracked the car then maybe I could justify the PICs, but for everyday hardparking and DD the pro-s IIs would be fine.

With Skunks though, he would need to install non-ITR LCAs.
I ordered a set of AMR Engineering suspension. You can choose your own spring rates (Hyperco springs) and the suspension has lifetime warranty.

Coilovers for a street-only car is kinda stupid, IMO--especially in that price range.
Just buy a good set of shocks and a good set of lowering springs and you'll have a better setup that can more than likely be rebuilt and it won't have the associated rattle/seizing problems the cheap coilovers have.
A cheap set of coilovers on an ITR is a joke, frankly.

I had a dedicated track car with 12/14's and a DD with 12/14's. I loved every minute of it on the street. For others, they may not. Also depends on the road conditions in your area, if pre-load was set properly, corner balancing and all of that. Can't throw any suspension on your car, not set it up properly and expect great results.
well koni gc is 799 from thmotorsports, with stiffer rates, 500/450 or so you can create a really nimble car. probably the best bang until you hit AMR

I think the guy is just looking to lower the car a bit. Why wouldn't you just get some decent lowering springs and put them on the already good ITR stock shocks if that's all you really want to do? It would be a modest increase in handling potential (depending on the springs) without the harshness in ride quality.
I've got Konis coming in tomorrow. I have GCs sitting in the garage from my EM1. I'm gonna be using 380/380. We'll see how it goes. I just got my R and would like to Autocross and track it once completely bone stock before I mod it. So this won't be till the spring/summer. I know that standard rate GCs sitting on Koni Yellows are an awesome setup. I had that on my EM1 before my GF started driving it. Now it's on Koni Yellows with stock springs sitting on the lowest perch. Also a great setup. But you'd have to buy Konis for a GSR or something along with regular Integra LCAs since the ITR rears don't have an adjustable perch.

I personally have ITR shocks and TEIN s-tech springs on my car and I would like something a little bit more aggressive. As well as a half an inch lower in the back. I will probably go with the Progress CS-II kit after doing my research, although as I mentioned, the newer Skunk Pro-s II looks very promising as well.
The progress CS-II coilover kit would be great for a DD. I fail to see how "good" shocks and a "good" set of lowering springs would be any different, save the lack of adjustability. Progress offers rebuilding and replacement dampers for a very reasonable cost, rivaling average shocks.
Also note that Koni = lifetime warranty. Progress = one-year. And Progress does not manufacture the shocks in that kit. Who does, I have no idea.
Again I would point at the Progress CS-II kit being over $200 less than the Koni/GC setup and the OP certainly does not need Damper adjustment. I'm not sure you guys are truly grasping "bang for the buck"

And Skunk2 suspension = trash. As are pretty much any full-bodied "coilover" kit under $1000. Most are plagued with inferior materials and/or poor shocks. They are basically throw-away kits because once the shock goes, they are useless.
If OP just wants to lower his car, Tokico Illuminas or Koni Yellows with a decent lowering spring will get the job done and maintain a decent ride.
looks like the OP needs to be more specific. why coilovers? if you're looking for easy height adjustment, then go with a coilover kit. if you're looking to just lower your car and forget about it, then i suggest koni yellow's with a good spring as well.
I've been using H&R springs on Koni Yellow's for about 3-4 years now, the exact same set, and never had a complaint. I even track my car twice a month at times, and the setup handles well. Changing it for next season because I feel I've maxed out my setup but that's a different case altogether.
Keep in mind that Koni offers the Yellow with adjustable height perches, for the stock shock with lowering springs look, or "slammed" look if you're looking for that.
Here's a pic of my car on H&R springs on Koni Yellow, not even on the lowest height perch. I don't want to thread jack with an image, so just follow the link to see the image.

People really don't get the concept of how shitty a sub$1000 full bodied coilover is. Or they haven't ever ridden on something nice. Some people make the most ridiculous claims as well. One guy told me his $600 "God speed" coilovers were better than zeals he has owned and KWs that he's ridden on. I believe rice burglars will say anything to make their points seem valid.

A height adjustable coilover is simply far more desirable than i fixed height spring. It also sounds like the OP wants to "dump" his car.

as todd just said it's probably because you get more options with koni/gc, you can order any spring rates you want and have a lifetime warranty on the shocks. for only $200 imo it's beyond worth it for higher build quality, more options and the warranty
If I were you, I'd buy Todds NZeros, if he ever decides to sell them. I have been in love with the Mugen N1's / N Zeros since I got them. Not sure if you can find a good set used in your price range, but they're worth saving up for.
Being in a few PIC cars, I must say they ride way too aggressive for the street. I could say the same for the Koni/GC set up as well.
IMO, Skunk, D2 and K-Sport suck.

I have koni & gc combo. My spring rate is 450/380. Ride almost like stock. If I could go back I would increase a little more like 500/450. Perfect for DD in my opinion.
i like these rates myself but they don't ride like stock. c'mon man. you have a lot less body roll, less brake dive and a car that will put your head in the roof if you hit a speed bump quick
IMO - DD & Lowered (with comfort) --- > Koni + GC combo or Function and Form Type ll
Performance Or DD w/performance over being Comfortable ----> PIC's
Honestly i own PIC Selects 10kf/8kr. It could be slightly harsh, but not if you know how to drive. I Love every minute of it on the street though.
Maybe its because i had extremely shitty suspension setup before when i bought the car.
If that still cannot satisfy you, nothing beats OEM when it comes to comfort.
