i have a 94' gsr with ls tranny and a drag gen 3 t3/t4 turbo kit. plus a blitz super blowoff valve. question is: when i boost my car and shift i often hear this stuck noise from the blowoff n from the left side. supposely the blow off should sound "pshhhh" but mine goes "puh-k" or somethin like that. yet sometimes the blow off sounds fine. any ideas? great appreciation.. thanks!

oh yeah btw, i asked some friends to check out the blowoff valve and they said the blowoff is fine cuz they took it out and rubbed and checked it.

 

How does rubbing the BOV do anything?

 

sometimes the rings inside might be rubbin against the inner part so it gets stuck. but that was fixed. now questionin that weird noise either from turbo or wastegate... dunno

 

If it's a BIG valve it's not uncommon to hear the piston "thunk" when it moves...
