Default shocks and springs ..

i have a honda accord 99 4 dr. i bought tein lowering springs recently and the shocks blew on me. now i need to find shocks, i was looking around and found tokico shocks but i dont know if they would fit.
does anyone know that can please help me ! or a shock that will fit the springs and my car thank you !

Well that was descriptive. What Tokico shocks? How much are you wanting to spend? Did you not bother contacting any of the vendors in the Sponsor's Marketplace for parts and compatibility? V6 and 4cyl will be different too.

i got a game plan already, im just gonna buy new shocks from a car shop for my car with life time warrenty and im set thank you though

I'm guessing that means either Monroe or KYB GR-2.

Keep in mind OEM replacement shocks are not meant to handle lowering and will blow just like the current set.

but new ones would last at 2 to 3 years,
thats why the life time warrenty comes to an advantage

Don't waste youre money.

The shocks are designed for a stock ride height. You can probably get away with using H-tech springs with GR-2 struts but the S-tech springs will blow those shocks in no time.




I would advise that you sell your lowering springs and get some function form type 1 coilovers. Its not that much more money.

FF1 coils = ~$500

Tokico Illumina & KYB AGX = ~$400

plus you can make 100 off your springs if you sell them.

"Upgrading" your shocks will cost as much as getting a quality set of coilovers.
