97 EX civic - How do I remove window tint glue?
Ok so i bought the car a year ago, slight mods done to it, and i was looking at her the other day and finally noticed the window tint on the windows was just crap lol like a walmart brand window tint that some guy tried to put on himself and i was peeling it off randomly waiting for a friend to come out and got what they call the 1st layer off but theres just nasty glue all over the windows now (haven't touched the back one cause i read it was a B*tch) So i'm looking to take the glue off the windows tonight when i get off and make them look like they're newish again what should I use Goo Gone and a razor blade? i don't wanna be scratching the windows up. Thanks ahead of time for the help if anyone has had this problem plz give me some insight
dawn soap and water and a razor blade then on the back if u have defrosters just use a sos pad and soapy water i worked at a tint shop for a few years so ive done it a few time
I actually used, paint thinner, and a buffing wheel, on a drill. It came off a lot easier then anyway that I could have found. but I just look for lazy ways when it comes to stuff like that.

I used a steamer!!! go to kmart and purchase one of the portable steamers. Works like a charm. Did 5 windows in 20mins. Then you can return it if you want to.
For the rear window, to protect the defrost lines, you just want to soak it in ammonia and then put plastic bags over the entire window.
Once the sun "bakes" it, you will be good to go.
