Default Weekend Warrior Interior

So, I'm building a 90 rex to be my weekend warrior and track day car.

The shell I have has 4-door civic seats, a few interior panels and no carpet. The seats are definitely going to be replaced, but my question is this:

What should I do about the interior? Should I re-carpet it or have it cleaned and painted?

do what you think is necessary. Since its gonna be seeing some track time you want to keep it light. Id take out the carpet tho.

I'm not too worried about keeping it light...it's a CRX...it's already light.

if its a track car, then why do you care about the interior? spend the time and money on stuff to make it go fast, or at least prepare it SAFELY for the track.
