Hey i got a b16 that wont start up. it got fuel coming and spark but dont know whats wrong. want i changs spark plug, wire, fuel pump, fuel reglater , fuel pressure. has msd kit. swap my cuz distributor to it but wont start. any idea out there that might help.

 

Sounds like a ground or you could of switched up a plug or something. i could be wrong but thats what I would check first. Check to make sure your grounds are hooked up

 

oh thanks i check it out too but also i forgot that when the car runing, it some time dien while the car in gear. so will that cause anything?

 

Do u have compresion I means witha Gage not by ear n wat is it

yea its just stalling and crank

 

probably firing order is wrong

 

we check that and the belt. but the car was running tile it just die.

When the engine won't start, have you checked for spark at the plugs and listened for whether the fuel pump primes? Is spark bright white? Any CEL codes?

 

yea their is spark white yellow. test at the spark wire. will b18 wire fit too. got to try that if its work or not.

 

Is this when the engine won't start. And there should be no yellowish color, just bright white with a difficult to see tinge of blue.

Does the fuel pump prime?

 

yes... the car was runing and i just die suddenly.

 

Yellowish spark could mean a blown coil.

 

kool i get that tomorrow and see what happen then thanks but fell free to put any news ideas in thanks.

 

Resistance test the coil before replacing it.
