I am having a strange problem the last couple of weeks. Here's the problem. When I take off and give it gas I practically loose all electrical power. It Only happens when I have my headlights, heater, and stereo on. Now the history on the car. It started out as a 89 DX auto. I did a b18a1 swap in june. I swapped all the wiring from a 88 si into it. Now there were 2 wires cut at the ecu. One is labeled ELD and the other ALT. Now I never thought anything of it due to the face that its running fine and the battery have not died. Its got a new battery and a new alt. What could be draining the power? if it is those wires where do they go?

 

You need to rewire those two wires back into the harness. The ELD is probably the culprit (Electric Load Detector), but you should have both wires hooked back up.
