VAFC2 not powering up. Please help
Hello everyone
I am having a problem installing VAFC2 into a 2003 Civic with stock ECU
VAFC2 does NOT power on
I connected the two RED power wires with 1" distance between them to the wire going to ECU pin A3 (power source)
I connected the BLACK and the BROWN ground wires with 1" distance between them to the wire going to ECU pin A5 (power ground)
The wires are soldered.
VAFC2 does NOT power on.
With ignition ON (engine OFF) - voltmeter shows exactly 3.5 volts at each RED power wire on the VAFC2 wire harness
VAFC2 only powers on when I connect both red wires straight to positive battery terminal and both ground wires straight to negative battery terminal. But I believe it is incorrect to run the VAFC2 connected directly to the battery??
Please help, any advice at all greatly appreciated. I've been checking my connections and resoldering wires all day and can't figure it out.

Re: VAFC2 not powering up. Please help
I thought about it and I believe I should see all 12 volts at the RED wires of VAFC2 wiring harness
If this is the case, then I may have a problem with my grounds. I will check all grounds in engine bay

VAFC2 not powering on issue resolved.
I thoroughly cleaned all engine bay grounds (including the ones below the headlights) and the VAFC powered on
