Nice man, what kind of turbo kit do you have? What was your reasoning for the block guard and gasket? Thought F22 could easily take more boost then 14psi (sry im learning as i go, turbo s2k is my next build)

I have a garrett gt30r, you dont want to boost 12+ psi on a stock block with a compression of 11:0:1 lol. headgasket lower the compression. remember that f22 block isn't iron sleeve they still FMR sleeve.

This isn't so true anymore, there are many out there running well past 12psi with all stock internals and never have cracked the head to even think about putting in a thicker head gasket. And they are all making well past 400 to the wheels safely and reliably, it is all in the tune.

15psi on mine w/110 race gas

500whp

Don't speak in terms of black/white. With the right parts/tuning anything is possible.

This info is 100% false. The fact that you have a garret gt30 has nothing to do with this guy. You paid way to much for way to little performance. You dont need a iron block to make power. The FRM actually helps. Do you think Honda doesnt know what they are doing and would have used it to make the block weaker? People have made over 700 to the wheels with stock bottom ends.

Full Blowns S2000. 780whp stock everything before they sent out the block for sleeves.

32+PSI IIRC. Just a hair more than 12+PSI

15psi on 110 race gas...I'm sorry but whats your point that a car designed for pump gas can be turned up a notch on race fuel ? lol good job you win cpt obvious.

im not sure the debate was with fuel in this thread. its about how much power the stock block is making/can handle. im sure not many if anybody is putting down 700whp on pump fuel. but ive heard of many making power near or beyond 700.

but how long will it last driving it daily on 700 whp with stock bottom end?

and if you read correctly, he ask me what turbo do i have, and i told him i got a garret gt30..

honda made FRM sleeve because it cool better then iron sleeve. it was design for what it purpose as an NA car. they didn't expect u to put a fat *** turbo on and boost 20PSI+ on the motor..

A few other car companies use FRM. I dont know how long it will last. it could last one hour or one year. Its all about the tune and how the car is driven and also take into consideration how well the motor was treated before hand.

Full Blown Motorsports S2000
Almost 800whp summer daily driven on E85 Stock motor @ 32PSI
Had over 100k Miles before boosted. I think honda did a great job, and the LJ did an awesome job tuning i'd say Going for rides in that sucker was just insane.

Great numbers. My friend had his done at Synape and made 460whp with a 30r at 14psi on 93 octane pump gas and 560 at 20psi on 110 race gas. These bottom ends will hold a substantial amount of power being forged from the factory. His is an ap1 though
