I have a d16z6 in my car i just got it and i started experiencing an idle problem. The idle seems to bounce up and down on a cold start i cleaned the iacv and replaced the tps im out of ideas and everyone i talk to seems clueless any help would be apreciated

 

Have you searched for a vacuum leak? Is the check engine light on?

 

how long does it flucuate for? does it do it after it warms up?

 

I have almost the same problem. But mine fluctuates when the weather is really cold here in Los Angeles. It goes up and down from 1100-1300 when the engine is fully warmed up. But when is nice and warm outside or not freezing cold, it doesnt do it. I cleaned the IACV already. I'm lost just like Verdesco.

 

Do you have your valve cover connected to your intake tubing? Many people use a "breather' on there valve cover which gets clogged over time and does not allow air to escape. This often results in idol issues.
Not saying its definitely it, but its a possibility.
