SOunds like you probably just need to replace your thermostat, it's an easy and affordable job. The gauge should be around a third of the way up in the white bracket.
well for my car thats normal remember your on the highway its really cold so that cold air is hitting the motor cooling it down as long as it went back to normal and didnt go passed that i would say your good

well that depends if he is on the highway for a while meaning 10 to 30 minutes make sure to give it time to warm back up after u hop off the highway just dont jump the gun but if its not over heating or its not stayin cold and its running normal stay with it but i will give you this advice do not i repeat do not buy a thermostat from autozone that part i always buy and will buy from honda
and remember, coolant actually keeps the motor running warmer, pure water will keep it cooler. so make sure you have the correct amount of coolant and water in your system.
actually thats not normal, the t-stat should close when the temp starts to fall. running the engine cold will kill your gas mileage, that thing needs to be replaced.
im having the same problem. i replaced my thermo 4 times 3 with advance thermostats and the final one with a acura oem thermo. i dont know what else to do any suggestions?
