Default Temperature gauge reading cold...

Temperature gauge reads between Cold and Hot when not in motion. As soon as i drive, it drops towards "C" cold. When I turn on my heater… it’s somewhat warm and the temperature gauge reads all the way to "C". What can be my issues? thanks in advance.

it's the thermostat. it's a really common problem on integras. get a new one from the dealer.

dont trust autozone for diganosis, i HAD THE SAME problem its a thermostat, its stuck open, when i removed mine YOU CAN easily push it in so the coolant was easily opening the thermostat

and to the guy that said theres air bubbles if that was the case the car would overheat due to air in the system

DO NOT run your car with a stuck open thermostat, while some ppl think its good because the motor is cold, the car would stay in closed loop and run rich all the time, you would waste gas, and sooner or later running rich your going to destroy your cat.

I had the same problem too and just swapped out my thermostat last weekend as well and it fixed the problem. Now it's a happy integra again. I ordered mine from hondapartsunlimited.com.
