Car won't run properly
So the other day i snapped my crank pulley pin again, so I had to pull my crank pulley off and fix the whole thing again. Either way, while it was off me and my dad decided to tension my timing belt because it was pretty loose. Either way we tightened it and put the crank pulley back on with some JB weld in the hole with the key, so hopefully it won't split/skip the crank again. So I let it dry and I go to start it, and i have to basically floor it in order to get it to start. And it runs at about 5-600RPM, and it backfires and blackens the spark plugs to death in about 10 minutes. I replaced the plugs and it still doesn't run. Fuel pressure is good, no CEL's, all sensors are good, spark is good.
yea thats what I was thinking too. Unfortunately no, since it gets dark early during this time of the year, it was already starting to get dark when I tried to start it. Just shot this out there to see if there were some other people who experienced the same problem and it happened to not be timing related.
