hey all, so i put this car together back in the summer and all was running and working perfectly fine. its a 91 ef, and the engine is a b18a1 with the proper acura ecu. i had to move up north and the car held up fine for the 900km drive up and the first 2 months before the snow and cold weather hit. first it started with a cold idle surge, once warm it sat at its idle around 7-800 no problem. i searched on here and i tried the little white plastic piece adjustment, it was already nice and snug. is there anything else that might be causing the surging? also within the last 2 weeks we saw a -25 temp wave that the car didn't like at all, and now she lacks in power abit, like i've lost 20% of power, all across the rpm range. the rpm used to go really cleanly all the way to 7200, now it kicks out at 6500 and has a long drop to 5500 before it kicks back in, the regular rev limiter just bounced right at the 7200 and was really quick "ba ba ba ba ba" what its doing now is "baaaaaaaaaa baaaaaaaaaaa baaaaaaaaa" and it really smells too. a couple times while warming up in the morning it has thrown a check engine light, but went away when the car was shut off and didn't come back, i have shorted the blue plug and turned on the ignition and no codes flash on the cluster.

i just replaced the plugs as it was misfiring abit when really cold.

does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing my issues? im not sure if its all one thing or 2 different things, one for the idle, and one for the power loss? im wondering if it might be my o2 sensor? i've also noticed worse gas milage since the loss in power too. anyone with previous experience please chime in :D
