have you considered some 88-89 d16a1 piston/rod set up? cheap to be had, people seem to do pretty well with them

Ive heard them holding 350 whp. Don't have a big budget or else would've gone for forged D rods anyways. I live in India and have to import a D15B crank (running a **** 3 stage vtec block in which the crank has smaller rod journals) which is going to rape me on the shipping.

LS rods with Crower bushings, Vitaras, JDM D15B crank, alcohol/water injection, RCAutoworks ramhorn with a good size turbo (not decided yet) with a Delta 272 cam and Supertech/Bisi valvesprings. Once I save enough for a forged rod set, I'll switch to them.

Hella cheap labour in India Know a few machinists too and help them out with their cars for free. Even if they charge me, it'll probably be peanuts, in the 20-30 usd range :p
