Rubbing issues,wheel fitment, HELP!!
so i pickd up a set of regamaster evo's and they are 4x114 so im running a 25 mm spacer adapter to fit my car, now its not slammed but low enough to where if theres a dip the rear rubs crazy, i can get the fenders rolled no problem, what are my choices as far as spacer adapter, can i go with a smaller and still roll with 205/50/15? cuz the front is on azenis and the rear is on ziex. can u guys recommend the spacers i should get and the tires for this setup. im lowered on ground controls and tokico blue struts. i wanna get somewhat tire tucked in the back and front, with fenders rolled. lmk thanks.
I assume from your username that this is for a '97-00 Civic.
I don't know the answer to your question about the fitment - hopefully someone else here can help with that - but mixing the Falken Azenis RT-615/RT-615K with the Falken Ziex ZE-512/ZE-912 is a really, really bad idea. The Azenis is a supersticky summer tire that will grip great in hot weather, but won't grip much at all in cold weather or in rain. The Ziex is an all-season tire that won't grip all that well in moderate to warm temperatures, but can handle snow and rain. So with that mixture the handling your car is going to have a "Jekyll and Hyde" personality; in warm weather it's going to have huge oversteer problems (with the rear end wanting to swing back around on you in turns), and in cold weather and in rain or snow it's going to have huge understeer problems (with the car wanting to plow straight ahead in turns). I strongly recommend that you replace at least two of your tires so that all four tires are the same make and model.

well i just picked up the wheels yesterday, the tires came with it. im lookin in to some kumhos within the next couple of days, my main question is, if i go with the same size tire ( 205/50) with my fenders rolled is that goin to be enough? should i get new spacers to clear the wheels, but if i get smaller spacers that means the original studs will hit the wheels... and u need 25mm to clear the studs..
Basically, though, the best 15" sizes for a '97-00 Civic are 195/55-15 and 205/50-15. Clearance on both sizes is similar, with the slightly larger width of the 205/50 reducing clearance about the same as the slightly larger diameter of the 195/55. When either of those sizes rubs on a '97-00 Civic, the problem isn't with the tire size, it's because of the tire positioning (improper offset and/or excessive spacers) or excessive lowering. If they rub, you might want to try it without the spacers.
the azenis are always going to be fatter no matter what size, but im lookin into kumho ast.. i had them on my blades and they were just right. fit ment wise with it being low.
right now im considering them on the regas with 195-50. yes they make them that size.
this way with my 20 offset i can still be low. i have to run the spacers because they are the adapters for my wheels being 4X114 i have to run adapters.

So you want to get one of the worst, crappiest tires on the road (the Kumho AST) and you want to get it in the wrong size for your car? Well, good luck with that!
lol!! i also thought about gettin neo gens, because ive heard good things about them, i just researched the asts and yea they arent that great. i just had them on my blades but i was commuting 7 miles a day and ididnt put it to its potential...if it had any. but thanks for ur input bro.i have lots more researching to do.
