ighty so here is the scoop. I brought the car last nyte. drove it home , it was a lil bit far about a hour ride.. It seems like the tranny will only go into 3rd gear if i put it in d3 or d4.
When i put it into 2nd it seems like it still stays in 3rd when i go into first it was workin but then lost that hafe way home lol. the check engine light is on so im assuming it is for the trans or the o2 sensor cause the car has a crazy exhaughst leak.

As soon as i turn the car on with the car in park or any gear D4 flashes on the dash board the whole time ...

and to make it better while driving home on the main highway the car dies so i jump it get another mile then dies again so i jump it a third time and get 5 feet.. so the altenator is dead also .. now im freezing and have to call a tow truck ... who basicly bent me over and charged me 160 dollars

now im 660 dollars into the car and tryna make money off of it .. if it to much to think im probly just gonna part it out

 

any idea what could be the trans issue ? shift sylenoid maybe ?
