P72 chip in P28?????HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!! (GSR SWAP)
Ok Im a Noob when it comes to computer. I am doing a GSR swap into my civic and have a P72 with a fried mother board. I also have a chipped P28 from my old single overhead turbo set up. Can i Take the chip with the base GSR base map from the P72 and put it in the P28 or is there further programming needed???????????
You may install a 28 pin eprom chip into your p28 with a tune for your gsr engine.
The only disadvantage is that the p28 ecu can't control the stock intake air butterflies you will simply need to keep them open all of the time or upgrade to a skunk2 style intake manifold.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Many things can cause this. The number one problem we see is people switching the intake air temp and idle air control valve plugs. This fries the board at Q31
Wow i didnt know that could do it. I thought it would have to a wiring problem or something. Well here is some pics. The guy said it was the rev limiter but idk. So see what you think it might be.
