flywheel opinions...
ok so heres the deal... i have my new JDM ITR swap being delievered tomorrow and i've run into something i can't decide on...i originally purchased a fidanza 7.5lb flywheel and exedy stage 1 clutch... however i go to thinking about it and purchased another flywheel.. an ACT 12lb flywheel. after reading here and there people say you lose a bunch of torque when you do a lighter flywheel.. my question is... just how much? last year i got a JDM B16a swap and got an exedy oem replacement clutch with a 7.5 fidanza flywheel.. and i did like it... but the problem is i never drove the b16 with the stock flywheel... so i really never knew the difference between the two.. so my question is what does everyone else think? should i do the fidanza 7.5lb or the 12lb ACT flywheel? i know the stock ITR flywheel is 14lb so the 12lb isn't that much lighter... so let me know what you think people... this car, is for now my daily driver.. but eventually after i get another shell for my b16a it will be a auto x / track car... thanks for the input..
