Default B series Tranny ID (wierd Gearing)

ok i got an ef with a gsr and a cable b series tranny in it so i split the tranny and
1st-3.250
2nd-2.052
3rd-1.416
4th-1.103
5th-.906
final-4.400
i checked multiple times the first and fifth are wierd and the 2nd 3rd and 4th are b16 y1 and the final is ys1 gsr and i have never heard of the first and fifth so can any one help .

What you have is a j1 or an s1. I verified these a while back to be a little bit different than a lot of online ratio lists.

ok now is there any difference in the s1 or j1 if so how do i tell.

The J1/A1/Y2 use a larger synchro on 3/4 than 5 and the Y1/S1 use the same size synchro 3/4/5

so i could put 3rd syncro in 5th and 5th to 3rd and 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 1st . and can you get synchro sets for decent prices im looking for a good parts distri.

The S1 has the same synchro 3/4/5

I have stock brass synchros or carbon lined synchros available. PM me for pricing.
