picked up a set of oem fogs for the coupe for dirt cheap. does anyone know how much or if anything is super different from the sedan? wiring? brackets?

Well the fog lights are mounted in a completely different way (and use different designs I think) if you take a look at pictures and compare the two.

So looks like you will need to decide how you will mount the fogs themselves and then how you will run the wiring. The wiring as far as connections go should all be basically the same. The guide SubieDude posted should help you out quite a bit.
