98 OEM fogs
I searched but nothing that informative came up. Mostly just 99-00 foglight threads. Does anyone have pics of what the 98 OEMs look like. Is it true that there was a round and square style?? Also, where can you find the OEM fogs new??
Thanks in advance

Re: 98 OEM fogs (Z SNAPP)
The dealership probably doesn't have them, at least at most places, they're discontinued or sold out -- I don't remember which.
Here's the part # from HONDAPARTSUNLIMITED.COM for 98 civic fogs: 08V31-S01-100F
HERE's a picture of my OEM round fog lights for my 97 civic ex coupe:

None of those stores sell the USDM 96-98 round foglights. None. JDMLand (ICB Motorsports) may occasionally have a used set of JDM/EDM clear or yellow rounds, but they are few and far between.
The part number for the USDM round kit is as follows: 08V31-S01-100F - FOGLIGHT- M/R They are not discontinued.
It will come with a LIGHT GRAY switch, and all wiring. It costs about $260 list. Some online sites have it cheaper.
Here's a shot of mine, got them from ke98248:

Might as well post my clear squares. These are OEM replicas (Esuse) since I haven't managed to track down some OEMs yet.
If you must get replicas, I'd suggest Esuse over DEPO. The DEPO lights are what you'll usually find (including PWJDM). They have a long red wire included with them. They're also known for their numerous wiring and grounding issues.

DEPO lights (which are the ones PWJDM sells) have many problems.

Re: 98 OEM fogs (Z SNAPP)
08v31-s01-100F is a kit with everything except the switch for the dashboard. It has both of the harnesses, relay, lights, brackets etc. They are round and clear and are still available. It replaced 08v31-s01-100. I do not know what the difference is. Maybe the #100 were the square ones. I would like to get the factory squares myself. They sit in the bumper nicely. I think that the round ones look like junk regardless of the color as they are not appear tucked in as tightly. The switches cost another $5-15 and are gray, taupe and charcoal. 2 dealers told me last week that charcoal is available per their computers! It had supposedly been out of stock or out of production. Does anybody know the factory part # for the square amber fogs? Anybody still have their old receipts from the dealer or installation instructions with the part # on it?

The squares (in any color) were never sold in the United States. Even if you were to get a part number from a different market, you would not be able to purchase them through a dealership.

Re: 98 OEM fogs (Eran)
just to ***** out my car just cause i like the round style.
oem ones can be obtained through a dealership. USDM OEM fogs come only in round and clear.
Any other ones can be found at the previously mentioned sites.
I like the OEM cause the lenses are clear and don't have that wavy look to them like the depo style square or round.
