Default Trunk brake light

I have a 1992 Honda accord lx a/t.

The trunk brake light does not work on the driver's side but, it works on the passenger side. The running lights work, and the signal works on the driver side.
The corner brake light works on the driver's side.
I did fix the driver side corner tail light leaking gasket where I was getting water in the trunk. I took the tail light off and it was full of water like a fish bowl. Is there a fuse or relay specific to just the trunk brake light on the driver's side? Thanks in advance for any insight or help you can give me.

And you tested/replaced the bulb?

The stop lamp failure sensor located in the corner tail light, would that have anything to do with it? They are different colors. One is brown(driver side) and one is black.

Well it gets me that the "corner brakelight" works but not the "main lamp"...never had a 4th gen and the only book I have at home today isn't that great. Power to the taillights is fused but it is the same, left and right, so that rules out fuses.

Have you tested for voltage at the socket that isn't working, also be sure the ground is good. If the book I have is close to correct, the power and grounds are two differnt circuts. The lamp indicator/warning/failure sensor could be the issue if you are not getting power to the one socket. The water could have rusted the socket and or shorted the sensor.

The two are different, the right/pass side one also drives the high mount light

Just an update. Earlier in my post I mentioned that I fixed the leaking tail light. The lower socket on the wire harness was really rusty. I ordered a new wire harness from Honda. The harness came with a new stop light failure sensor so, I replaced that too. Now the brake light in the trunk works. Thanks for talking it out with me.

My pleasure. Glad to know you've fixed it. Also thanks for getting back and letting everyone know what worked.
