well winter is HERE (DAMMIT!!!!!!!!) and its SUPER cold... my damn heater isnt working... i flushed the coolant and still doesnt work... i even shoved the garden hose into the coolant lines (line that goes to the heater core box, two lines on the firewall) and it returned fine so i dont think its clogged... it does turn on but blows nothing but COLD AIR!!!! what can it be? i need heat in the crv because the odyssey isnt cutting it in the snow tho it does have heat

 

How is the temperature gauge? High, good, low? (thermostat, radiator cap?)
Check the heater valve. Make sure it's opening up all the way to let coolant flow. Or yet, if it even moves at all when your moving the hot/cold slider.

 

engine temp is fine half way.... radiator is brand new tehermostat i havent checked.... but car doesnt over heat so i think its ok??? when i flushed the coolant i checked that valve and it was clean... i also had my brother turn it from hot to cold, it opened and closed fine...

Did you check the fuses. I am also having a problem with my heater. The heater works but the blower wont blow the air.

 

it was the damn heater core.... damn was it a bitch to get that dash out... but it works so thats all that matter right now cause snow is pouring like crazy....
