First post and I need some help.
My daughter's 98 Civic D16Y7 has issues starting, idling and accelerating. It runs great in open loop until going closed loop when warm then it stalls and stumbles when giving any throttle.
No trouble codes have been set.
My mechanic suspects intake air leaks and wants to replace all the seals, o-rings and gaskets on the intake side. That includes injector seals and throttle body seals and intake gaskets. I'm not so confident in his diagnosis.
This was a sudden development and never exhibited any problems before.
Any other ideas?
