ok so my accord has been running like crap and i found out that the no.1 cylinder isnt firing.... i swapped the 1 and 2 wires to see if it was the wire but its not that...... i have no idea where else to look anyone have ne ideas or can help with this problem? i Have a dizzy with an external coil.... Mayb that might be the reason(f22b1 motor)

 

did you try changing the spark plugs??
what year & trim is your acccord and how many miles?
F22B1 with External coil????

Sry its a 93 accord ex with a 97 accord ex motor in it wit 77k on it

 

It wouldnt be the coil as that would affect alll the cylinders...Check the contact inside the cap for that cylinder....and pull all the plugs and compare em...I would say the spark plugs tho....

Are you sure the spark plug is not firing? or just that that cylinder isnt "working"...cuz it could also be an injector if thats the case.

Also where did you get that dizzy cap to make it external coil?

 

I get it confused some times but i used he dizzy off my 93 accord which has a coil pack on the outside......and i had it running and pulled out the wires one by one and the wen i pulled the first wire the motor idle the same but the others affected it wen pulled
