WHAT HP IS AN AREOMOTIVE A1000 CAPABLE OF
its good to max about 1000 crank hp or about 830whp with not much headroom on a turbo car. good up to about 1300hp on a n/a car (not going to happen on a honda).
Question, what pumps are available if you want more power than this?
Surely that power figure varies depending on which dyno you measure the power on and if so which one would be correct based on the fuel flow available from the pump?

On my set up I only made about 650hp with the a1000 and 1600cc injertors, and it was runninig out fuel at that hp level!. It was a brand new pump , I had to switch to a eliminator pump and made about 790hp and still plenty of fuel left.
Yeah as others have said it is about 800hp they start to run out of firepower. The dual Bosch 044's are very popular choices and as someone else has stated the Weldon pumps worked very well as well. I have heard a lot of negative things about Aeromotive products, but on the flip side i have seen so many people running their products that I don't see how they could be so bad. Personally I have their Fuel filter and Fuel Pressure Regulator and both have worked flawless for me. I think that for the price you are getting a pretty decent quality part. As they say " If it ain't broke, Don't fix it!"
if you already have a A1000 and wanna step up. Might as well get the Aeromotive Eliminator . It should be a straight swap out. So you don't have to re plumb your system.
And i know of a few cars making wellll over 900whp on it.

"• 25% more flow at pressure than our A1000 Fuel Pump."
Edit: looks like it's a -12an in and -10an out.. (so if you were already running a A1000 , you'd have to swap the line/Fitting from the sump to the pump from a -10 to a -12..)

For 1000+hp get the Weldon 2345. Gotta remember when looking at pumps at that level, we run a lot of boost so the fuel pressure will be high, where flow is the lowest.
Most of the Weldon pumps will do more pressure than they're rated at for short duration.

For instance Dual Bosch 044s in parallel will start to drop off in pressure at around 120+ psi...but if you put them in series you'll be able to make 160psi with them...however your flow (amount of HP you can make) on them will not be nearly as much.
