can lenso vpd's tuck on a lowered eg?
my eg hatch is pretty low on hr race springs so there is no adjusting it up and down, i was wondering if the popular lenso 13x7.5s can tuck up in past the fender lip, i plan on running the MH 205/60/13s dot slicks which are about the exact same dimensions that my 195/50/15 street tires are, i have no problems with my 15 inch rota slips but i wasnt sure if the lensos stick out to much?? if they wont fit do you guys know of a 13 inch rim that would work ? and can you post photos if you have any.
I think that you will be fine, it doesnt really matter how much they stick out as long as you have the proper amount of height. you wanna make sure you have at least an inch of gap and you will be good
thanks guys, if the lenso wont clear do you know of a 13x7 that will? i guess i could get diamond racing to make me a steelie that would have a 30? offset that wound clear. i cant remember for the life of me what offset my rota slips are either
I was thinking the same thing... ^
If you like the appearance of your car tucked on a day to day basis and it wont be at the track every single weekend I'd just suggest a suspension swap for the times you do take it to the track. I can have all 4 corners changed on an Eg/Dc chassis in about an hour so just plan your trips to the track and the day/night before, make the swap.

Either that, or invest in a good set of coilovers.

I always went by a rule of thumb to use a maximum of 1 to 1.5" of smaller wheel diameter than the slick diameter you're running.
My boy Keen (Neek175 on here) went 11.4's in an EF on 22x8's with OEM 13" Civic wheels. I don't condone mounting 8" wide slicks on a 6" wheel, but hey, it worked for him.

and i think you meant width rather than diameter in your second statement lol

And yes, the 8" slicks will not tuck, regardless of offset. I barely got my 7.5" M&H's to tuck in the fenders of my DC when I was running stock gsr sunflower front wheels.
Damn, that's right homie, I forgot you had made the switch when you went faster.
OOO i thought you were talking about thegap between the top of the tire and the bottom of the fender. As previously stated there is no way to "tuck" any kind of slick and wheel combinations safely, if you want to have the "tucked" look buy yourself a widened front end and you will be able to tuck nearly any wheel that you want
