Default Spoon TwinBlock or Monoblocks

Wanted some input on what people prefer between the two.
Do we have any users on here with the monoblocks. If you did this upgrade did you upgrade your rear brake system.
Or would people rather wait for a set of the twinblocks.

Is it for bling? Or what is the reason for the upgrade?

If you say better braking, look into other options. Pads, rotors, SS lines and good fluid.

the biggest reason people upgrade the brake system is fade resistance. stopping distance is influenced by tires more than any other factor.

Mainly cause I found a set cheap like around 500. I already have SS brake and clutch lines.
I know about upgrading pads and rotors. The Main benefit of Spoon Calipers is the ability to use OEM pads. I believe with the Monoblocks I would have to upgrade to size 17 rims, and 16" rotors.

a friend who has used both said that the Twin block was more than enough. Plus it saves you the trouble of changing the rotors. Remember that you also will need a bracket to run the monoblock.

I completely agree with idrivesideways & Dave about the tires/pads etc. If you have never tried out a different set of pads, i would recommend it.

Thanks for the input, I have used different pads and at the track I use Advan A048. Awesome tire. I tried different options. Just wanted some more input on this.
