Ride height has nothing to do with the corner scaling of a car. You need to set your ride height and then scale.

tim what suspension are you running? From what I was taught with the the right suspension ride height wouldn't matter much. You can raise it up or down without effecting performance much. Corner scaling, alignment, shock valving, and spring rate is what needs to be looked at when chassis tuning.

It is pretty much pieced together, Tokico blues on Skunk2 street coilovers. I hear Ksport is a pretty good option to buy.

How would you determine what your specific ride hight would be for your car. I'm not asking for a hand out, but looking for some theory how you would go about doing it or a general rule of some sort.

Its simple, you want the weight as close to the ground as possible.

Kinda like using a set of Rob Moore dropped struts "to get the weight closer to the ground" eh?

I see what Miller is saying, the closer the weight to the ground the less height it has to travel. Correct me if I am wrong thank you.

Lol.. I mean I am cutting 1.6x 60's but I think I can do better. I use to do 1.6x's all day open diff now I have a twin and LSD and it seems like it's not pulling 100%. It is prolly just driver error, but the car does sit like a monster truck and I want to lower it to something that will look good and possibly help me out.

i have Ksports and have had good luckwith 60'. But as far as rideheight. I like my car a little higherin the rear.

I did 3 stacked fingers in the front (tire to fender), and 4 stacked fingers in the rear (tire to rear fender).

^^thats me winging it. No real Science behind the decision.

If it were my car I'd look at the rules and get it at the min spec.

And Miller def meant get as much weight as close to the ground as you can... There's plenty of reasons why that can be researched.

I remember a T4 rule that stated you can only cut 1 or 2" of fender lip for tire clearance... So I added 9" and everyone thought I was nuts....now look at these 3 piece front ends with there lips not extending below the sub frame structure... Flashbacks!!

Now you guys have nearly no rules to play with in Outlaw... So much fun!!

We have always built our rwd chassis at min height, set at 3" and build from there. I don't see how'd it be different for fwd.
