Hey guys. I am transitioning my 700whp Prelude into a time attack track car , and this means putting some 17x9.5" wheels with some 275's and I'm not down with the whole "hellaflush" ****, and I want the suspension to be able to fully compress without any rubbing so I am going to need to flare the fenders, but I don't know where to begin and wanted to see if anyone knows of any DIY's or info on doing it. I have built everything on my car and would like to keep it that way, and the more I can do myself the better so if anyone has some input please share. Here is what I am kinda going for. BTW I am very experienced in metal fab so the more metal work involved the better.

Already done, and the 275 is far from fitting.

if i were in your situation, i'd trim the fenders about 2 inches back. yes it'll involve body work.. get something to cut it, grind em back, roll them another inch or so for clearance, then blend it or pick up some fender flares or make some to match it to your car
