this is my old setup from 2007-spring 2010 this was a sc6176 i have a forward facing s372 now with a a/w
ill post some of my new kit in the morning
Its a one off pfispeed manifold. my new one is even nicer divided housing twin tial 44s.... like i said ill post pics of my new one... the hard part of foward facing manifold is the down pipe. like in an ef you dont have much room behind the bumper for the compressor housing so its tight space wise
yeah.i had a top mount made for mine and practically had the core support cut out.i have always loved the front mount look so i think im gonna attempt it.the front mount manifolds out on the market are based on the eg/ek chassis so i doubt they will fit.

afi's front facing turbo manifold fits the ef chassis pretty well. i have a friend with an ef 4 door and afi manifold and a 35r and it fits nice
i think the front mount turbo manifold is the only one that you might actually not have to mod anything/much as compared to nearly everything else on the market, unless the manifold was made specifically to fit in an ef with whatever specific turbo.
We are finishing a crx up. Ill post pics later on. I must say it has been a pain in the *** fitting everything. In a small bay.
I've heard of people using off the shelf manifolds but have not seen one actually installed...i know what you mean B18c1.i lost count of how many times my fabricator dropped the f-bomb while doing my top mount (he never cussed prior to that).didn't help when i decided to change turbos when the manifold was 95% done either..lol looking forward to those pics!
i have a redline top mount manifold on mine at the moment with a t4/pt67 its a little tight but not to bad just had to cut into the light a little bit
Here is Wopsicle69 ef!

We run at a few hill billy tracks i have sucked up a few grasshoppers lol i watch videos of those runs and i swear i see puffs of smoke that are hoppers burnin up.... other than that i am just carefull like while im in line behind the burnout box i have someone stand in front of the car, and when its on the trailer i keep the cover on it.... on my old setup it saw some street use so i had an hks filter on it
Its a simple setup.
LS/Vtec
AEBS sleeves
Stock bore
Manley Turbo Tuff Rods
CP pistons
B16 head
B16 cams (not for much longer)
Supertech Valve Springs & Retainers
Ferrea Valves
Custom intake manifold
Custom turbo manifold
Air to water
Q45 throttle body
Precision 6765 (debating a switch)
The last pull on the dyno was at 36psi making 778. It has since been turned up to 40+ psi
Over the winter i think the precision unit is going, as well as the stock cams. I also need to do something with the transmission and axles. Im still on a stock gear set and axles. I don't want to turn the power down, and every outing with the car i have been breaking both constantly.
