Replaced the revised version of the OEM cap (plastic with O-rings instead of just straight rubber) this year after being in service 7 years and nearly 200K miles. Can't beat that. I don't even think it was actually leaking. I only replaced it because I had a leak in that area and replaced it along with VTEC oil seals, etc.
go with the blox, or any other particular style like that with the o-rings, oil up the seals before you install it, and then reassemble. The only place you need to use permatex is right along the edge of the cam cap, no other place.

I went with the GE seal as it was cheap and on sale, lol. Any will work.
