so for about 2 weeks now my car has been making this noise like metal on metal but a high pitch... couldn't figure it out for the longest time. so today im driving, i hit the smallest bump in the road an it sounded like i just bottomed out. so i figured i did, got to work popped the hood and i take a took at the tower an i see this s***t..........

change the name of the photo, it is blocking it since it is a swear so it can't complete the image code.

not low at all actually 1.8" all around

kyb shocks an not too sure on the springs. bought the car with them on it had the car for about 3 years now, never had a problem since a few days ago. prob like a total of 5 yrs of them on the car??? rough estimate...

I had this happend to me in a eclipse i bought... replaced the struts and was good to go.

even if it was installation error, i don't think it would last that many yrs if it was installed wrong? but anything can happen i guess....
