Ran today at Atco for the IMport vs.Domestics event and ran a new personal best of 10.97@130. ITs been a long time comming trying to hit 10s and today was that day. The car is a 93 dx coupe thats really basic.

The car is driven 3 times a week. all street tuned by me. no copy and pasted maps from other people, changing the fuel a lil and calling it mine. theres been alot of people in my area copying what ive been doing this just goes to show you cant be me.

Theres a bunch of people i want to thank. My girl for being supportive. next my team Team NV for all their help.Chase, Tony,Umar,Eladio,my boy Reem, and a whole bunch of other people that has been supportive. you guys keep me going.

Next i want to thank Chris Miller and the whole NRG crew.THese guys are great. I talk to Miller all the time and this guy never turns his nose up to me. He helped me figure out things and taught me a buch. This has been going on for about 2 years now with this car and my last. Everybody screams how much of a dick he is but let me tell you this. Last year at the outlaw race i went just to watch. as soon as i got there chris was standing and i walked right to him. first thing he said was wheres the car and i told him it needed a retune and slicks and other stuff plus i didnt want to burden him with my simple setup. he said kind of disappointedly that he got 21 cars at the event that he's tuning/caring for plus racing his own, one more wouldnt have hurt and would have provided me everything i need to race....Wow. thats why i stay loyal to him and his program. Keep in mind that I HAVE YET TO SPEND A DIME at his shop!! he's reviewed my logs, answers my texts no matter how stupid or how small just as long as i go race. Thanks Miller cant say it enough.

very nice!! based on your trap you have to be making more then whats considered normal for the stock pistons to handle im impressed, how long do you think it will last?

thanks. Boost was realitively low considering it's a 62mm. Boost was 1-10psi/2-13psi/3-13psi/4-15psi. Theses 6262s are ridiculous. I know of a few cars running 67mms that need more boost than this just to make the same power.

billet 62's are sick. i am doing a similar kind of thing with my car. congrats on the run man

 

yeah. It went 11.7s on the gate. I've been having issuses with these mvs gates (mostly my fault) it would read steady boost through out the log but I found a port that was leaking since day one. I fixed it the morning of the event but then all my boost setting were wayyyy off. I was doing pulls all the way to the track trying to dial them in. Now with it fixed I think it can go 11.50s on the gate.

I'm pretty sure I can probably hit 10.50s with it as it is. But I need a cage.
